Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, late arrivals, and refunds are handled for bookings with
Classic Desert Safari. By booking with us, you agree to this Policy.
For fastest changes to your booking, contact us on WhatsApp or phone as soon as possible. Refund eligibility depends on timing and package type.
1) General Rules
- How to cancel/reschedule: contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email using the contact details below.
- Timing matters: cancellation windows are counted from the scheduled start/pickup time.
- Partial use: if a service has started or you have used part of the booking, refunds may not apply.
- Third-party costs: some experiences (especially balloon flights) involve reserved permits/slots that may be non-refundable.
If your booking confirmation message states different rules for your specific package, the confirmation rules apply.
2) Desert Safari (Morning/Evening) Rules
Free Cancellation Window
Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup/start time to receive a full refund (if prepaid).
✅ 24+ hours: Full refund
Late Cancellation
Cancellations made within 24 hours may be non-refundable due to reserved vehicle and staff allocation.
⚠️ Under 24 hours: No refund
If you prefer a different window (48 hours, same-day rules, etc.), tell me and I’ll update the text.
3) Private Safari Rules
Rescheduling
Private bookings can be rescheduled subject to availability when requested 48 hours in advance.

Cancellations
Private tours reserve a dedicated vehicle/crew. Cancellations within 48 hours may be non-refundable.
⚠️ Under 48 hours: No refund
4) Dune Buggy & Quad Biking Rules
Standard Cancellation
Cancel 24 hours before your scheduled ride time for a full refund (if prepaid).
✅ 24+ hours: Full refund
Same-Day Changes
Same-day cancellations or missed time slots are typically non-refundable due to limited vehicle availability.
⚠️ Same day: No refund
Riders must arrive on time for safety briefing. Late arrival may reduce ride duration without refund.
5) Hot Air Balloon Rules
Hot air balloon flights require advance scheduling, permits, and limited capacity. Because slots are reserved, balloon bookings often have stricter rules.
Cancellation Window
Cancel 72 hours before flight time for refund eligibility (if prepaid), minus non-refundable fees (if applicable).
✅ 72+ hours: Eligible
Late Cancellation / No-Show
Cancellations within 72 hours or no-shows are typically non-refundable due to reserved flight slots and permits.
⚠️ Under 72 hours: No refund
If your balloon operator’s confirmation states a different window, that operator policy applies.
6) Weather & Force Majeure
Some experiences depend on weather and safety conditions (especially balloon flights). If we cancel due to unsafe conditions,
you may be offered rescheduling or a refund (depending on the service and provider rules).
- Balloon: may be cancelled due to wind, visibility, or aviation restrictions.
- Safari/ATV: may be adjusted or delayed due to safety, road access, or government advisories.
Force majeure includes events outside our control (e.g., extreme weather, government restrictions, emergencies).
7) Late Arrival & No-Show Policy
- Late pickup readiness: be ready 10–15 minutes early; drivers follow scheduled routing.
- No-show: if you are not reachable or not present at pickup/start time, the booking may be marked as a no-show and non-refundable.
- Reduced duration: late arrival may reduce activity duration (e.g., buggy/quad) without refund.
8) Refund Method & Processing
- Refunds (if approved) are issued to the original payment method where possible.
- Processing times depend on your bank/payment provider and can vary.
- Transaction fees charged by payment processors may be non-refundable in some cases.
